Event Description

The Orientation Program for the joining students of ACTMS was conducted during August 20-21, 2018 at the College Campus at BD 91, Salt lake.

The event started with the National Anthem.This was followed by lighting of the lamp by the Director Mr Vikash Kumar Singh, Mr Anirudh Agarwal,Associate Director CRISIL and other dignitaries. In his welcome address, Director ACTMS welcomed the Dignitaries, speakers and the joining students.

Mr Anirudh Agarwal, Associate Director CRISIL , explained the requirements of the industry and urged the students to be proficient in the Domain Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning. Mr Vikash Kumar Singh, Director ACTMS, in his session on ’Mantras fo Success’, stressed on what the students should do to equip themselves for facing the varying challenges in life and in the highly competitive world of industry. He have a series of practical examples of successful people, including his own success story, to motivate the students.

Mr.D.N.Pradhan conducted an extremely interactive Session on Mind and Memory Power wherein he demonstrated ways to improve Mind concentration and Stress Management.

Mr Arnab Mitra, Director KPMG, projected the different avenues of employment for different fields of study and the specific requirements of Industry for each field.

Mr Dhruba Mukherjee,Vice President ABP Group, Head of The Telegraph and 91.9 FM, highlighted the actions which the students should not do. He took them through the rise of a top Press Reporter and an Internationally known figure in the world of Journalism and mass Communication.

Mr Arnab Biswas,Sr VP GKB and Vision discussed the challenges as foreseen by him and the Group of Companies he represents.

Mr Bitan banerjee of CTS took the students through three competitive Events : Mad Ads, Poster Competition and Management Games.
